The answer is clearly PIE, people. Pie. STOP DOING FEMINISM WRONG WITH YOUR CAKE.

I once thought it was pie. I really did. I hate cake, and always, ALWAYS had birthday apple pie growing up. People who remembered my birthday brought me apple pie, until I discovered peanut butter pie (THIS IS A REAL THING AND I MAKE IT AND IT IS DELICIOUS! ANNA WE HAVE TO MEET IN PERSON!). Then it became the pie of my life.

But then I discovered This Applesauce Cake from Smitten Kitchen, and my life changed forever. FOREVER. I eat it always. I make it every time I have apples available. This cake is the definition of happiness. It is the staple of breakfast with chai tea.

If this cake is ruining feminism then away I go! I thought I had already ruined feminism with my sparkly eyeliners, my Native American rights, my non-white ass blogging with white people, and by routinely having my eyebrows and upper lip waxed. But Cordelia and I will love this cake until you pry it from our hands.
